East Timor

At last we have some concrete plans for our pilot trip to East Timor. In April a team of 4 hairdressers will travel to Dili for a training block that will deliver 100 hours of training to 15 students, enrolled in a  2 1/2 year course with Pro Ema. 

These girls are from a variety of locations and have been selected to undertake a general  course of administration / management and specific skills in other areas such as hospitality or hair and beauty. East Timor as a nation is undergoing a time of unrest and challenge politically so more than ever it is a time to work with them to empower those who are already disadvantaged in their culture.
