Bangladesh Training college update

Our second college has reached a significant milestone: local trainers have completed teaching their first group of students! We are absolutely thrilled with their achievement. Fantastic work ladies!!

We have made a number of trips this year to support these new teachers, but of note is how much the students have learned from the new trainers without us. This model of empowerment does not rely on westerners being the ‘keeper of knowledge and power’ and bringing all the training. It’s the local women here to celebrate.

We are thrilled with how this group of teachers have further honed their teaching and leading skills this year.  They have encouraged the student group to develop not only practical skills for the workplace, but also overseen and guided the students personal grown and professionalism. What a great job they’ve done!
